Hi there,

My 2004 jetta has 67,300 Km on it. Two months ago the 64 Km inspection was performed and the break pads were changed. Now 1000 km later a whistling noise can be hear when pushing the break going back. What it could be? Thanks for your help.

Don't understand what you mean here.

Where does the whistling noise sound like it is coming from? Did you have the front or rear brakes changed?

Hi,

What I mean is that the front and back pads were changed after the 64,000 Km dealer maintenance (performed when the car was around 66,000 Km). The first 1000 km was OK, but one week ago I start hearing a whistling noise when I release the break going backward. I hear it only when I start releasing the break. I haven't noticed the sound when I break while driving. The noise it seems coming from the front of the car.

Thanks for your help
