Hey guys, sadly a lot car blew up and I get the undertaking of replacing it. It's a 3.5 according to alldata, the only size. fwd. My question is do I need to remove the engine/trans on the cradle out the bottom or from the top? Alldata says top, all the googling I can do tells me to drop the cradle. I'm sorry to ask such a dumb question, but it does seem easier to drop it from bottom like the acadia/enclaves. Any help would be great.

Oh yeah, in fact I'm doing it in a free stall at work, so It keeps mine open! We have a powertrain jack here at work, and I've taken acadia motors/trans with it on the cradle. I was just assuming that dropping it out the bottom would be easier, but I wasn't for sure if there was any weird thing that prevented it. Don't do a whole lot of mopar engines here at the chevy dealer haha.

With the design of the chassis it seems easier to drop out the bottom, as thats the way it was installed.
