car died while driving, did a spark test on plugs & coil wire no response, replace cap & rotor, still no response, replace coil, no response, replace spark plug wires no reponse, order shop manul 3weeks, did light tester test, with ignition key on, touch coil, with tester on white wire, red lite came on, touch black wire no response, touch white wire on igniter no response, where do i go from here, help in hawaii

I would consider looking at the ECM....also did you check all the fuses, theres a high probalility that when there is no spark and the injectors, and/or fuel pump are not working at the same time the computer has failed....other than that you will need an advance scanner to make more of an accurate diagnoses.

well i did check fuese that was in the engine compartment, & the fuses driver side kick panel & all is good, im not to sure what a ecm looks like, is it the round silver one? i cant tell if its good, ther all sealed, & is this ecm in the engine compartment in the black box, how will i know?

thanks dave< so would you sugest that i go straight to the ecm, instead of the igniter?, because i did check all the fuse in the engine compartment, & they all look good, its the different size & shapes that are my concern, for example, theres like 3 squares & 2 round long shape fuse, i have no way of tryn to see if there the problem,, however the fuses in the car on the kick panel are all fine, did i missed a step along the way? or do we i just go straight to the igniter? i did do a light test on coil white wire, ignition on, & white wire from igniter, & no light at all, o i dont have a current auto scope or scanner, thas why i used the light, it was the only availble..
