Fixing a bad paint job? Sign In

I have a 95 Toyota Tercel. I had it repainted about 4 years ago. The guy wasn't professional (a family friend, geez I hate being talked into having friends do work on my car). Anyway, it's not terrible, but it doesn't look the best either. The paint has what looks like swirls in it. Would a pro be able to buff the swirls out, or would that just ruin my finish? Anything else I can try?

It probably won't look any worse

Too bad I don't have this option. But I don't have the patience, time (I'm a grad student), or space to do this sort of work. Any other options?

Oh, and really, it doesn't look horrible. I have a feeling I'll be driving this car for a while longer, at least for another year. I just wish I could shine it up a bit, make it a little more pretty.
