95' Nissan Altima - 4cyl

I have replaced the fuel filter, the alternator, and checked the spark plug wires, etc...

It has a hard time starting, sometimes, when it does start, if you goto jump on the gas, it will sputter and die...... I can't seem to figure out why...could someone please help me figure this out....

My 1998 altima had similar symptoms and it turned out the timing belt was off by one notch. started and ran fine but no real power.

Timing belts don't just simply go out of time and need resetting. It it happened without a tech's contribution, then the belt is junk.

You must had a special Altima because the 2.4L in those use a chain.


Check engine light on? Any codes being stored?

help my Rav 4 2003 is not selecting gear despite changing it.It's an automatic type
