I have a 2000 Jeep Cherokee and when I try to start it it just makes a clicking noise. I have had the alternator tested and it tested out fine. It will start with a jump. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Have the battery tested; even if when you turn on all your lights and accessories and they seem to work normally; they will only be drawing approximately 50 or so amps from the battery. A starter motor takes an initial draw of 300 amps to begin cranking the engine and approximately 150 to keep the engine cranking.
So if the battery is not capable of supplying this 300 amps, all you’ll get is this clicking sound.

maybe also check your cables and connections for signs of corrosion or damage. Especially if this problem is intermittent
