Altima Hybrid 2008 high voltage battery looses charge after 3 months. Car overheats while idling to try to recharge battery which needed to be replaced at 5,000 miles. When asked about overheating, service manager says these cars don't overheat. I say "what was that smoke and why the antifreeze all over the garage". No answer. What's up?

Too new for any hands on knowlege of the car but seriously - it has an fuel burning, liquid (anti-freeze) cooled engine that should have a water pump, hoses, radiator, thermostat and fan(s) to take care of heat like other cars.

Hey - when a dealer sells a car they should have access to all info for that car. It's new and should be their problem to figure out what is failing with the cooling system and why,

They may know more than they're saying. I asked for the paperwork on the car repair (which was in the shop for two weeks because the HV batteries are not stocked [on this planet]) and he said he'd have to mail it to me because he didn't have it then. That's a first for me.
