I need to apply tint to the rear windshield (hatch). It's too hard to do
while the window is connected to the vehicle. How do I remove the
struts, etc. from the rear window in order to remove the window from the
car?

Tinting is an art form and the people that have the know-how do it very cheap. just have a pro do it and nothing has to come apart and the cost is minimal. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

Well yeah that goes without saying, but I "invested" in a $30 tinting kit off ebay which worked VERY good on the side windows - Flawlessly in fact - But it was tough to do the rear window just because of the position, and having to get around the brake light and struts. I couldn't get the film smooth enough. After trying once, I know it would be simple if I had the window on a table.

That is exactly my point. You don't know the technique to "form fit" the film to the curved window and without knowing how to do that, you will be wasting a whole bunch of film and in the end, you will still have to send it out.

Ok well I respect your advice, but I'm not looking for advice. I'm looking to remove the rear window from a Pontiac Vibe.
