Power Steering Leak Sign In

I have a 2015 Chevy Traverse with 99,000 miles. The car started steering hard while idling. I checked the fluid and it was low. Added fluid and the car seemed to steer ok. Checked for a leak and found fluid around the power steering pump area. Power washed and looked for a leak and could not find anything leaking. The car now steers hard at idle when the car is not moving. At this mileage what components would be most likely to be leaking? Being this is hard to steer at idle not moving could the pump be bad? Any thoughts or suggestions on locating the leak and fixing the steering problem?
Thanks,
Mike

Yeah, have the car inspected to find the leak. It could be anywhere in the system.

Re: Power Steering Leak Sign In

Mike,
As much as it can help don't power wash engines, the problems from that are endless. Wipe down all suspect areas for things like a PS fluid leak and watch it come back - right away?

It was low so pump may have blown just being low wonder now if it's all contaminated with junk thru system?

99K is or isn't a lot of mile depends on each situation and what vehicle has been thru and how cared for a lot is catching things on time before it makes it worse.

Is this PS pump now soaked again, belt OK still or harmed by oil PS fluids are an oil rubber isn't thrilled with oil on it,

T
