I just bought a 2002 Chrysler Intrepid r/t . It is semi automatic, so I have to change 1,2,3,4 gear, but I hear it can be fully automatic, is this true? and if so how to change it so I just can put it in Drive and go, not worrying about switching gears?
Thanks in advance.

With the autostick you should be able to put it in drive and it will work like a regular auto tranny. If you select the autostick mode you can upshift or downshift using the + & -. I don't really get the idea.....If someone really wants a manual tranny I doubt this will do the trick for them.....

I don't remember off the top of my head but I believe when you move the shifter down the gate and just leave it in D is auto or you might have to click the shifter sideways once it's down the gate to get to D..... Just try what positions work to see if it goes auto...... Is the check engine light on?
