“We are proud to initiate this fund-raising effort to help The Salvation Army continue its important works during these challenging economic times," says Luis Guimaraes, Shell Lubricants general manager, North American Marketing. "By offering consumers a cash rebate on their next motor oil purchase or oil change, consumers can help raise much-needed funds for The Salvation Army during this holiday season.”
You can track the progress toward filling The Salvation Army’s kettle by visiting www.ChangeIsGoodGivingIsBetter.com. The Web site also has the terms and conditions and redemption information. Information is also available at select retailer and installer locations; by calling (866) 707-6737, and on the brand Web sites www.Pennzoil.com, www.QuakerState.com and www.Rotella.com.
“The Salvation Army is excited to team up with these three motor oil brands to benefit the many people that need our help in these difficult times,” says Major George Hood, national community relations secretary of The Salvation Army. “Because many of our donors are facing tough times themselves, more people need our help. This promotion allows consumers to make a donation while doing something they need to do anyway -- change their oil.”
You can also qualify for the rebate by mail with the purchase of five quarts of Pennzoil, Quaker State or two gallons of Shell Rotella T conventional motor oil during the specified time.
