02 TAURUS HEAT ISSUE 1 RESOLUTION Sign In

not sure if other taurus owners had simuliar problems but this fixed mine. it was on a 02 taurus ses with duratec V-6. this happen a little over a year ago. dont remember all details but do know it was a heat issue of sorts. i started out with basics, checking fuses,stat and circuits. anywho it wound up being the blower motor resistor that is on the evap case under right side of dash. the resistor provides LOW and MEDIUM blower speeds. my memory is foggy but i assume i was getting high speed blower as it is suposed to bypass this resister. hope this is helpful to someone. bikebarn

sounds good, may have to do ice fishing though, snowing here in pa.
