I have replaced gas cap and MAF sensor. Reset light with scantool. still shows low air flow. Checked for vac leaks on hoses. Changed plugs and wires, no change. Possible emission control problem? still surging from 650-725 rpm, trans shifting hard at same time light came on. No other codes show up.

(MAP) Manifold Absolute Pressure/(BARO) Barometric Pressure Sensor -Circuit High Input You have a problem with the MAP sensor circuit voltage signal too high, not the MAF and not the EVAP. That could be a bad sensor, lack of vacuum to the sensor or any of the related wiring. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

It must be a 3.4L because 2.2L(F) doesn't use plug wires..... Oh wait a minute...let me plug my special scan tool in...LOL Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
