I replaced the battery & altenator but car loses charge while driving

you need to check the battery connections to make sure they are clean and tight, make sure the cables are in good shape, and that there is battery power to the field coil terminal of the alternator.

Thanks. Cables are clean and tight... where will i find the field coil terminal on the altinator? Both the battery & altenator are brand new

Test for power at the main terminal of the alternator with the key OFF. If you don't have 12volts there, then your fusible link is burned out. I believe it's at the starter. If it's good, test the charging voltage with the engine idling and no accessories on. You should have between 13.5 and 14.8volts
