I got a 1992 Chev Lumina 4 door it won't start
turns it over alright...like I never had it plugged in cause the
plug in cord snapped off -40 degree weather
I did use Ethonal at Husky when I gas up
so it shouldn't be froze up? It fires a bit but
nothing just cannot get it started I recharge battery
try again...meanwhike we are in a deep freeze where I live Sask

Just curious about the ethanol. What % was that and is that OK for that car at the age? It doesn't freeze but may not be so happy about running well??
Perhaps if you can prime it with "ether" as I call it or starting fluid and get it fully warmed up, in garage for a while and run it periodically overnite (pain I know but have dealt with that type cold too sometimes) ..
Again - the choice of fuel could be the issue at that extreme - not real sure but plain "gasoline" will behave or should,

Yeh - pumps here say "up to 10%" and no problems here with cars that old and shouldn't be TMK so dunno if that's the issue or not??

It's possible that it may be over-fueling due to the extreme cold. Try wide-open throttle while you are cranking the engine. Don't pump the pedal. Just hold it to the floor. Could be that it is flooded? If the engine starts, of course, start backing off on the throttle as it 'cleans it's throat'.
