1995 Ranger Exhaust Clamp? Broke Sign In

So all of a sudden my truck gets much louder and I look underneath my truck and notice towards the middle that where my two exhaust pipes come together, the ring-type clamp that holds the 2 together rusted through and broke. So basically my truck is much louder. Is it bad to drive while like this? Or not a big deal? Any "quick-fix" ideas ideas I could try for the time being before I take it in to get fixed? I was thinking bungee cords? Any ideas???

Use wire instead of bungees for a temp fix till you can secure it properly. Get after that as you don't need the heat blowing at the wrong items under there,

Measure the pipe and go get a new pipe that has the inside diameter the same as the outside diameter of the old pipe and a couple of clamps. Should be able to repair it.
