I have a 1996 dodge neon and it had not been started for awhile we jumped started the car and we heard a pop we looked outside and it was leaking alot of gas near the rear tire any ideas please help and any ideas on prices so i dont get jacked at a mechanics shop

Obviously, you sprung a leak, probably in a plastic line. the car needs to be towed to a shop and inspected.

I guess I would have to know what's wrong with it to answer that but since no one has inspected it yet, I do not have an answer.
