We have a 1997 Ford Escort (2.0 Engine) that hit a snow bank, which packed snow under the car and after that it hasn't started.

The timing belt was replaced 2 months ago.

The engine is getting fuel, air and spark and has good compression.

We tried replacing the crank positioning sensor as well.

The car still won't start. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Does it fire at all or try to start?.. If you could hook up scanner you could see if your cam sensor is working.. if you getting spark, compression and good fuel your timing has to be off.
