2000 Dodge Caravan-Interchangeable parts Sign In

Does anyone know if the parts for a 2000 dodge caravan (base model) would be interchangeable with a 1998 dodge grand caravan? any help would be very much appreciated!

There are some parts that will interchange for 10 years and some that change within the same year.

Do you know of any way i could find out what things would be the same without searching for each individual part? We have a 2000 caravan and found a 98 grand caravan for really cheap that says it has a radiator leak and a power steering hose leak, so i thought that maybe at least some of the bigger things would maybe interchange, and between the 2 we could have a really nice one :) and thank you so much for your response!

Off the top of my head I want to say they would both work, but your best best would be to look up the part on OReilly, NAPA or Autozone's website for both vehicles and see if the part numbers match. With the power steering hose, forget new just buy a used one. This is a pain to do once, you don't want to do it twice. You'll also need an 18mm crowfoot flarenut wrench, various extensions and a willingness to lose skin from your knuckles. If any children are in the area you are working in, make sure they have earplugs so they don't learn as many new words for their vocabulary.

You meant that the other way around, right Nick?
