2004 VOLVO S40 Distributor Cap Sign In

My car has trouble starting after it first starts during the day. Someone mentioned my distributor cap may need to be replaced or cleaned. I can't seem to locate it. Can anyone please direct be on how to replace the distributor cap for a 2004 VOLVO S40.

Thank you for you help,

Charles

That would be a good trick. Your car doesn't have one.

If it only happens when the car is first started I would start by doing a fuel pressure test first thing before you start driving it for the day and post the reading here.

Is the Check engine light or any dash warning lights on?

Try turning the key on (do not start), then off, then on again and see if that helps it start better.
