2005 Honda CR-V Powered Window Sign In

2005
Honda
CR-V
6-Cyl.
70,000 mi.

Today I was driving around and wanted to put my window down. However as soon as I did there were several loud pops--three or four--and the window sort of shook with each of these pops and dropped down into the window cavity completely uncontrolled. the whole time the window motor made a whirring sound and several small clicks. Now the window will not raise up. Is this simply going in and reconnecting an arms or whatever connect the window to the motor or a super big ordeal? I would gladly appreciate any help!!

Thanks

It sounds like your window regulator came apart and will have to be replaced.
