87 Honda Accord issues

I have a 1987 Honda Accord, I thought I had shifting problems , I have replaced the upper bushing in the motor mount, ( was worn out ) allthough it helped I still have a problem when i shift ,it bucks and jumps at around 2000 to 2800 rpm. Now, when it is cold it does not do that at all... Only when it has warmed up to operating temp will it buck and jump.
Any help would be appreciated,

check to make sure your coolant temp sensor is operating properly if its not then it will send wrong temp reading to the computer and it can give you to much or not enough fuel depending on what its reading. if its reading cold when the engine is warmed up it gives it to much fuel

Sure thing prolube, i will let you know I'll look at it on thursday... I had a tough time locating it at first, I am pretty sure it is on the back side of the block above the oil filter , I can see a sensor with electrical wires going to it but is very hard to get to.

Thanks could it possibly be a vaccuum problem? There are so many vaccuum lines on that thing.

it could be vacuum but im leaning towards no cause more than likely it would do it all the time no just when its warmed up

IMO: It's old enough to be an open book of possible causes including vacuum leaks. A vacuum leak can do a few things. It can lean the mixture ratio which would be noticed at low/no loads and idle speeds more than under load and higher loads/RPMs. The time frame when engine is cold it should be getting extra fuel which could cover symptoms for the short while.
That and when a real vacuum leak is present the item(s) detecting it are getting wrong information even if just mechanical diaphragms and making wrong adjustments.
Vacuum leaks can be found (one way and there's not one perfect find-them-all way) is to spray at suspect areas carb cleaner and idle would change for better or worse if one is present. That method needs common sense and used sparingly as carb cleaners are flammable and on hot engine parts can catch fire. If not prepared or comfortable don't do that and seek help.
There's a lot on these engines to make them run well and sudden drop to idle is considered in the design as would/could be the case while shifting. Engine should ease to idle just right or would stall or could stumble. Multiple controls would try to cover that - electrical, mechanical and the vacuum integrity among the many possibilities,

Thanks Tom, Im taking it out to a guy to have it " Smoke Tested " for a vacuum leak today. I will let you and prolube know just what happened .

Cool - that's one of several ways to test for leaks. Doesn't work if windy outdoors or with fans on so I don't do it that way but it's worth the try,

Well here's the latest, I got the car back from "the smoke test" all is good!! I still have the same problem......
He suggested it may have something to do with the clutch pedal safety switch?? He told me there may be a short in it, and when I push in the clutch the car seems to cut out on electrical power for a second when I shift and only when i am under power Hummm . Strange. I will check the switch for a short. It makes a little sense because I can start the car in gear and the clutch out!!
He also told me I had a number "3" misfire , compression test checked out good, and I replaced the plugs (autolite) and wires and new cap and rotor. Could it be a bad plug? I will replace them with NGK.
Still Frustrated with this!!!
Any help??
