hi, i have a 96 nissan altima 4 cycliner gxe car. last week the batter went out so i thought, i replaced it and thought that was it, then just two days ago, the car would not start, so i got a jump and it was fine, but when i turned the car off then it would not start, so i got a new battery and replaced it, and thought that would solve the problem and still this morning the car won't start, so what do you think this might be? i had the alternator checked that was fine, so what the F**k? can anyone help me please????

This is a family site so watch the language please. You say you had the alternator tested but does that mean you had the charging system tested completely in the vehicle? You either have a draw on the system pulling it down while parked or the charging system is not working, sounds more like the charging system to me. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

The alternator is one possibility but that's what you test things as part of the system and don't just throw parts at it.

That's a possibility too but until someone tests the system and determines if it even has a problem, your getting ahead of yourself. They just need to do a charging system check and if they find it isn't charging, then they need to run further tests to determine why.

You don't even know what the problem is yet so don't ask me how much it costs to fix. You need to have it tested and then deal with the results.

What did they find? Is it charging correctly? Are they telling you that you had 3 bad batteries in a row? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
