'98 GMC Sierra brakes Sign In

I have a '98 GMC Sierra, 5.7 Liter, V8, 4WD. I have recently replaced the rotors, calipers and pads for the front brakes, being as every time i braked, the truck had wanted to pull to the right. Since they have been replaced, the truck still seems to want to pull to the right. It is not every time i brake, but most of it. Its almost as if its after the truck has been warmed up and driven for a bit. Any suggestions?

You should have also replaced the front brake hoses. Since your truck is lifted, make sure the hoses are not being tugged on anywhere.

If you have any looseness in the steering as you indicated in your other thread, that can also cause the pulling of the brakes.

Should i start by replacing the steering box? I do have oversized tires on the truck, so i'm sure thats been the cause of the problem over the years. A new steering box should hopefully then fix the steering problem, and in turn, may fix the pull to the right when braking?

I don't know if the steering box is your problem or if it is your only problem. I only advised that you can't adjust it if it is the problem. It's needs to be inspected to determine the condition of all the components.
