98 accord wont start Sign In

Hello, i have a 1998 honda accord v6. Sometimes the car starts and it runs fine and while your driving it turns off and you would have to wait about 5 to 10 minutes for it to turn back on. sometimes it wont even start. now the car starts but it wont turn over. I thought it would be the distributor so i changed that but thats not the problem. Can you please help me.

Basics: Engine cranks but doesn't run. Now break that down as to what it lacks - generally not getting spark or not getting fuel so find out which is missing,

Re: 98 accord wont start Sign In

i had this happen to my car just last week. it would turn over but wouldnt start, checked for spark and had no spark, also fuel pump wasnt working, after replacing the fuel pump, replacing the computer, replaced relay module and checking all fuses etc. it ended up being a few bad ground wires near the battery. they were corroded inside and you couldnt tell they were bad. i had to replace a body ground and a few ground wires the went to the computer etc. i would make sure your ground wires arent rotted. it will let you turn your car over but not start. doesnt make much sense if it has a good enough ground to turn your motor over but not enough for the computer etc to turn on. but it was my problem.. really check your grounds first.. hope this helps..
