Happy New Year!!!! My mother in law has a 1989 Honda Accord 2.0 Carb and it's a 4 cyl, I haven't worked on that many foreign cars and I just need to know where to find the location of the alternator so I can get her back on the road.

Should be on driver's or left side as you look forward and look like this. If this is adjusted via bolts and lock nuts and the least bit corroded this might not be for you! It's pretty old now and if all that stuff is done that way they can be a nightmare!

Don't know for sure how belt tension is done that far back,
