Car Parts Website? Sign In

Hi, i'm not too familiar with cars but my dad likes to do his own work and repair his car, but he'd like to save some money when buying parts, does anyone know a good reliable website to buy parts from?

his car is a mazda 626 from 1998. im not sure the mileage or engine size but i can find out if it's required.

i would shy away from buying parts online due to the fact if the part isnt correct for your application, who do you bring it back to???

well a lot of websites do have return policies.. but that is definitely a concern. for the most part though, my dad does know what he needs. he usually doesn't go into anything complicated, and from the websites I've seen you can narrow down your parts search by make/model/year/engine, i just don't know which ones are reliable in terms of shipping and other customer service issues.

Facinating question as this whole site is about exposure to about anything concerning cars including parts which I just now looked at above for a Mazda just for example. It's the "shopping" link up top of this page!

I don't buy much of anything online myself ESPECIALLY for cars! There are so many things you just want to match up and see in front of you. There are so many times you may want to compare quality choices and times when a core is to be returned or exchanged. Hard to find or particularly expensive items might save some bucks. There are shipping problems/hassles with lots of hazmat parts to consider that make mail/web orders a pest also,

T
