Citroen Xsara speedo & rev dial help Sign In

I had a flat battery the other day (left lights on) when attempting to turn it over i noticed the the speedo and rev dial needles travelled around the clocks and now they are sitting under the pins instead of above, so no i have no indication of speed and revs. This did happen a while ago due to low power in battery but after charging they twist back the correct way, but this time they are staying put, anyone have any advise on how to correct this please Ciroen Xsara R reg

stan; Ran into this on a Chevrolet. The 'fix' was to take a straightened paper clip, work it through the trip odometer reset hole and gently lift the needle so it would go over the limit pin. Crazy, but that was GMs fix. Otherwise, you'll have to remove the instrument cluster and do it manually.
