Faulty Tachometer 2002 nissa sentra SER Sign In

as recent as the last week the Tach in my sentra will drop to 0 and not return to function when car seems to run for 30 plus minutes have also noticed lights on radio blinking intermittantly. after the engine has cooled the tach returns to normal function... Help I know where the gas and key goes and thats about it

Sorry to say but there’s no silver bullet fix for something like this.
I might be a connection problem that when the electronics become warm a connection goes open?
Hard to say where to start looking; possibly remove the instrument cluster and check the connections at the back?

the tach issue is a common problem with the 02 sentra SER .....its your CPS (crank position Sensor) the symptoms your describe is text book for it.

as far as the dash lights blinking on and off, thats a different problem
