Ford Taurus, help Sign In

I am considering buying a neighbor's 2002 Ford Taurus. It only has 5400 miles on it but it has been sitting for 4 years. I was thinking of offering my neighbor $1000 for it. Do you that is fair? and how much money should i expect to out into it to get it running again.

You don't know it has any problems. Yes the fuel will have to be cleaned out and the fuel filter changed. Possibly some dirty injectors or brake problems but the car internally is brand new. It depends where it was stored all this time.
