My hood wont open. THere is a small lever inside the car that releases the hood. I went to open it today, and it was all slack. Now I dont know how to open it. If not, having a person push down on hood while pulling release sometimes works. If broken - you can usually get to the part the cable pulls on either thru grille or from underside and may have to remove a splash shield to get a view and a looooong screwdriver. THe problem was indie the car, there is a hook behidn the little lever and the cord, and one other thing I dont know the name of, came off that, I put it back on that and it is fine now. There was spare fuses in there, and that was the problem with my cigarette lighter port in the other thread.
