As far as you high idle, those had a problem with the IAC motors, the diaphram would split causing a high idle... As quick check, take the iac off ( 2 bolts), block off both ports with cardboard & put the iac back on, if it now idles too low & almost dies, the problem is in the circuit or bad motor............. I have put in a full tank of gas a fuel system cleaner. Please would somebody advice what else to do.
