Hello I have a 97 acura Integra and it has a remote start. I dont know if it was factory or installed after market. I used the remote start all last winter and now the thing has stopped working. The green light on my keychain remote still flashes but real quick. My door locks are on the same remote and they too have stopped working. I tried changing the battery in the remote but this did not work. Still did not help. Can anyone help Please.

Re: Remote start Sign In

The aftermarket system has likely failed. You probably going to just have to install a new system.

About the only thing you could really service on that would be the fuse if it happened to go bad....

Pull the hush cover (if there is one) from under the steering wheel. You should be able to tell the AM harness from the factory ones. A lot of those systems have an inline fuse holder right there in the harness with a fuse in it. check the fuse.....

If the fuse is good you could try to find someone who works on your system but that and getting parts may be more trouble than it's worth. You would also have to consider the cost. you don't want to spend close to what a new one would cost fixing an old system.....
