Shift Linkage Sign In

I have a 1990 Chevy S-10 Blazer. The transmission recently broke so I purchased a 700r4 to replace it. I noticed differences between the transmissions, the old one had mechanical speed sensor wheras the new one had electric. I installed the transmission but I am unable to get the linkage to hook up properly. Any ideas what I should do to fix this ?

Re: Shift Linkage Sign In

I know it's a pain to start over but I'd get the right transmission and do it again,

Re: Shift Linkage Sign In

You might be able to get away with installing an after market performance shifter assembly?
Google B&M shifter.
