02 ZO6, daily driver, 16000 miles. Sometimes (about once a month) turn the key and it acts like the neutral switch isn't working. Everything else OK, just don't turn over. Replaced the battery and changed keys in case the chip was bad. After trying 10-20 times it starts. Sooner or later I'll need a tow truck. If I take it to the dealer I'll only get a fat bill and the old "couldn't find anything wrong. Any ideas?

Everything works, radio, seats, windows etc. but it doesn't turn over. No clicking like a solinoid or dead battery. I don't know how to acess the codes. Thanks for the input, I'm lost?

clean your battery terminals and cable ends. i know its tight in that engine bay. but follow the lead from the battery down to starter and make sure the starter connection is clean and tight. Same thing for your chasis ground connection __________________________________________________ 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee 2002 Ford Ranger 2004 Toyota Corolla 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1
