Steep incline damage Sign In

I have a 2007 Pontiac G6. It hit a steep incline too fast and ripped off a piece a metal. I am trying to find out what the part is called. It's about 8-10 inches, runs front to back, bolts to the frame and has a hole that the radiator shock absorber (?) sits in.

Any idea what this part is called?? Thank you.

Re: Steep incline damage Sign In

sounds like the cross member either supporting the engine or trans.

Re: Steep incline damage Sign In

The part that you are asking about is the radiator support I believe.
