WEIRD starting problem

Ford mustang 2000, When i start it, it makes a struggling sound but starts. If i turn it off right after that, and restart it, it sounds normal. Recently ive also had a weird problem that after driving for like 5 mins my dashboard light flip out, and my speedometer says im going 120, or that im going 0. rpm is messed up also , says either im going full speed or im going low speed. When that occurs , if i turn off the car, and try to restart it, it sounds like it starts, then 2 seconds later it dies. If i give gas during that occurence, it starts. Im quite confused, and might think its electrical? I could take it to the mechanic, but insurance is taking their sweet time giving me my money. So no point in asking what the problem is until i have the money to fix it. Thanks i appreciate it =]

does anyone have an idea :(. Or anything? Could it be an electrical issue, or a fuel pump , or fuel injector issue?

The only thing I can think of is the Dash cluster is failing and that is interfering with the theft deterrent system. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
