Hi there, my car is a...
1995
Honda
Luxline
1.6i
120 000km
Automatic Transmission
It pulled strongly to the left so I eventually had the alignment and balancing done. But now I find that it still has an annoying inclination towards the left hand shoulder of the road.
I've read that the minimum and maximum specs for a car's alignment often leaves too much room for error - so how do I get my car's necessary settings to compare with what they did. Or should I just take it back? Or are there other reasons why the car pulls left even though the alignment is done?
And maybe if I could be pointed in the right direction regarding reading material on how wheel alignment works and what I need to know, that would also be much appreciated.

There are numerous things that can cause a car to pull but the shop that did the alignment should have road tested the car and realized there was still a problem and then tried to resolve it.
The first thing I would try is crossing the front tires to determine if it's a tire problem. If the pull switches sides or goes away, then the tires are the cause.

Thank you - I'll have a look.
Any idea where I can find information that'll make the wheel alignment report which they gave me make more sense? Like something that explains the terms or my own car's alignments specs?

It's not something that your going to learn instantly but here are the basics

If you can make a copy of the printout and post it here, it would probably be easier.

A thought on that: If all things are equal, tire wear and printout of alignment shows within specs it can be adjusted to lessen pull if caused by crested roads all or most of the time (left hand drive like the UK - right?) by altering the "caster" settings which is a non tire wearing adjustment.
That if the vehicle doesn't pull on level roadway or center lane. Car will have an predisposition to drift towards the most negative caster setting. If a right hand drive there's more to it,

Thanks for the response guys,
It turns out I didn't understand the wheel alignment report...
It says my R front CU Boot (outer) and L Front Steering Boot needs replacing.
What is that and could that be the reason why my car's steering is out?
Oh and yes, the steering is like England...left side of the road, right side of the car.
