1989 Buick Riviera. Wouldn't start when hot. When it did start the 6, was only running on 4. Checked the coil pack, it had a bad spot between 2 plug studs. Changed the coil pack, still runs only on 4. Same 2 of the spark wire studs on the coil pack are dead. Is there a module or something that would only affect 2. I know the first coil pack was bad.

Yes, it is possible for the Ignition Control module to have one driver burnt out and do that with only one coil. The module is located under the coils.
