According to my database, this vehicle still uses an external voltage regulator (which surprises me). Put a voltmeter on the battery while running. The voltage should be between 13.5 & 14.5 or somewhere close.... Note the battery voltage before starting......If there is no change after starting the engine, it's not charging.... All this is after the battery is tested & fully charged.......... Why would you be shocked the regulator isn't in the PCM Loren???? That was such a great idea I was sorry to see it go....
