2007 vw beattle headlights won"t come on but the hi beam indicater still lights up on the dash almost 10,ooo on the mileage getting the run arround on the dealership to far to keep driving it up there was rearended 2weeks ago (minor side and back fender ) took it up there to get it fixed -- took several days-- got it back,air bag light wouldn,t go off took it back they tried to make me pay for it then they bantered that was a waranty issue had to take it back they (fixed it) got it home now the headlights wont come on now they say its not their problem, trying to make me pay more money daytime running lights wont come on either I'd go more into the soap opera issue but you would be in tears or want to brake heads husband lost his job doing everything we can to make payments- daughters car, I'm at wits end... need help asap

An 07 with 10k on the clock that isn't under warrenty?? That sounds a bit odd. The 2 killers for warranty are abuse or lack of maintance... If some how the wreck was the cause then it seems like the insurance would kick in...

I would suggest trying a different dealer for a second opinion......... Even if you have to drive a bit farther it might be worth it........

should still be be a warranty issue you'd think -other party's ins. payed to fix car say this is differant issue claim they did their part dealership (Only one in state)Trying to stall fixing it hoping waranty goes out..screams...cost us more in gas and car rentel I'm thinking they did something to it checked fuses they're ok I had them do an oil change while we were there and they were supposed to check everything cost my daugher 60 bucks now I'm wandering if they even really did change out the oil? could they have scewed something else up on the process could they have pulled a switch or a wire 0r take parts off of mine to put on someone elses? what would cause head lamps not to come on but indicater lights still work--soapra

soapra; In your owner's manual should be contact information for consumer problems. Sometimes, the car maker will actually be on your side and contact the dealer to tell them to FIX IT. Worth a try.
