If you cannot drive your car to the yard of the company, they can usually arrange to have a truck come out and pick it up.
This is good news for anyone who assumes that their car is too old or too badly damaged to be a good donation.
Sometimes these towing companies strip the donated cars for parts and sell at least something to a junkyard so that when you donate your car, they receive enough money for the parts to offset the cost of towing.
